1st Week of Classes

I think there are things I need to answer first before I continue on with my blog

Where else I can maximize Google and its apps for my work in INTRICT?

• I could use the google calendar to arrange a consultation with my teacher in INRTICT that is if he is free on that time. If he's not available, I could always use Gtalk to send messages to him and with its archive, I could search for the past conversations we had for future reference if I can't recall something that must be recalled. There is also an app where you could edit a document simultaneously with someone else online. This could help me with some requirements in this course.

What are other online applications out there that similarly support my activities as a student?

• The calendar is a useful tool. It helps me organize my plans for the week. I also receive reminders by SMS from Google. Google itself is a search engine. I guess if I need some research done, Google would always be there

What exactly do I mean about productivity? How is productivity related to technology?

• In economics, productivity is the ratio of the quantity and quality of units produced to the labor per unit of time. Productivity is related to technology in a way that technology improves productivity and sometimes what is produced also improves technology. They are like the sun and moon, two things taken together like day and night.

What can I suggest to my parents to also improve their productivity?

• A person's productivity is determined by their lifestyle. If more time is allocated for improving one's self to improve their efficiency in their work then I can say this is productive. I could suggest my parents to learn what is needed to be learned in terms of business so that their productivity would be improved.

Okay so here comes my blog. The first week of classes is somehow alright. Its nothing like highchool. I don't have a school bus anymore so everyday I go to hell which is also known as the MRT. Its always too crowded. I have to wake up early just to beat rush hour and just find a good book to read in the dlsu library while I wait an hour or two for my first class to start. Unlike in highschool, I get to have a break that lasts and hour or two instead of the recess and lunch I used to have which lasted only for thirty minutes. I also have to move from room to room, building to building just to get to another class unlike before where I stay in one room and sleep through two classes without a care in the world. Another thing that is new is that now I have lady classmates. For twelve years I studied in an exclusive school for boys, la Salle Greenhills. Classes were more chaotic since we were all boys. I would consider that as another hell but I consider the mrt as a deeper HELL.

My schedule is quite fine. I'm not that loaded with units unlike my other friends who belong to other courses. I have only two periods on Mondays and Wednesdays and about four on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are two subjects that appear to be a threat. Its INTRPRG and CSSALGE. I plan to focus one these two. I won't allow myself to suffer the disgrace of a low grade. If I could get a four on these two, I'll take all the chances that happen to pass by me. Ranked bellow these two is INTRICT. In this subject, there is something that bothers me. I don't have a concrete idea on how things would work. In the two threats that I mentioned earlier, all I have to do is to take down all the notes I could get, study some books, memorize and understand the lesson. In INTRICT I don't have a clue. Its just so vague. I just hope in due time things would be clearer. That leaves FILKOMU, SCIENVB, PERSEF1 and FWSPORT. I guess SCIENVB would come next in rank. It is about environmental biology. We had an assignment where we had to read something, "the tragedy of the commons," and write a reaction paper about it. The article was so long. I would consider this another hell but then MRT is the worst(damn MRT). I used a piece of yellow pad to write my report and I filled that piece of paper with writing back to back.About FILKOMU, I always had hated Filipino as a subject. Right now we havn't done anything difficult YET. We usually have group works here and so far this subject is tolerable. PERSEF1 is fun, its just like visiting your guidance councilor but you go with forty one other people. Haha thats fun right? I don't think so. If only I could get FWSPORT more than once a week. We have Taekwondo for our physical ed. I never tried taekwondo before but I tried karate although I only got promoted once. So far this is the only subject where I am willing to go to even if I have this subject everyday.

Besides college stuff I do have another concern but it is not something I am ready to express openly. I just want to say that there is something but I'm not telling you =P
